Privacy: the server stores only opaque AES-256-GCM ciphertext and wrapped keys. Your sync passphrase and data key never leave your devices, so the operator cannot read bookmarks, passwords, settings or cookies. Losing the sync passphrase means the cloud data cannot be recovered; every client offers a destructive reset.
